Call for Artists: First Annual Juried Member Show

Entry is $10 for CCAC members and $35 for non-members for up to two submissions. Use the button below to pay through Zeffy. Fees are non-refundable.

Cost shouldn’t keep a member out of the show. If the fee is a barrier, email us and we’ll send you a code for a free entry. Space is limited.

The Cherokee County Arts Council invites artists to enter our first annual juried show, opening Friday, December 4, in the Center Gallery at 33 Valley River Avenue in Murphy.

Juror: Becky Miller, YHC

Awards: Best in Show, $100, chosen by Juror. Members’ Choice, $75, voted by CCAC members. Viewer’s Choice, $75, voted by gallery visitors.

Who can enter: open to all artists. Entry is $10 for CCAC members and $35 for non-members. Members who need the fee waived can ask us for a code. Entry fees are non-refundable.

What to submit: up to 2 original works made in the last five years. For each piece, send its title, dimensions, price (or display only), and a clear photo. One entry fee per artist, up to two entries.

Sales: work can be for sale or display only. CCAC takes a 25% commission on work sold during the show.

Key dates: entries open November 1 and close November 21. Notifications November 25. Drop off accepted work December 1 or 2 during gallery hours (10-5). Opening Friday, December 4. Pick up work December 28 or 29.

To enter: pay your entry fee, then fill out one form for each piece. If you’ve already paid, go ahead and fill out the form (one form per artwork).

CCAC takes care with every piece but is not responsible for loss or breakage.
