Become a Member

Membership is the foundation of what we do. Grants come and go, and ticket sales cover single events. Members provide the steady support that keeps the doors open year round.

Your membership goes directly into programming: exhibitions at Center Gallery, the Arts in Appalachia concert and storytelling series, Open Studios, classes and workshops, and student engagement that reach nearly 25 percent of the students in Cherokee County every year.

Artists who join can apply to show work in member exhibitions at Center Gallery and for Open Studios. Just as important, membership puts you in a room with other working artists in the region.

Not an artist? Your membership is still important. It keeps a rural county's gallery open and helps get kids into the arts. It also tells funders and local government that this community values what we do, which strengthens every grant we write.

Members receive presale ticket access, class discounts, and invitations to members-only events.

If you believe the arts belong in Cherokee County, membership is the most direct way to act on it.
